That isn't really the case...  When reading through several different INTJ descriptions online, I sometimes come across a few points in how INTJ's are described that I disagree on.  One of the points that I used to disagree with was this: INTJ often would rather enjoy a quiet evening reading a book than attend a crowed party.  Being at university, I sometimes find myself invited to parties. Three out of four times I will likely accept the invitation. I usually only stay at the party for a brief time and then thank the host and leave - often under the notion that I have some school project or homework to complete. The other fourth of the time I have university or employment matters to attend and politely decline.  However, it has been of late that I decline invitations and instead opt for reading. Being in university, I don't have to search far for a reading assignment. However, since the break is approaching, reading assignments have become less freq

INTJ Standards

Image
Yes! INTJs have Standards! Writing on one of my other blogs I came across a topic that somewhat relates to my INTJ lifestyle. I will paste the first paragraph of the post here. If you like what you see you can go to the full article linked here . Of note, this article primarily addresses just one aspect of my standards pertaining to relationships, but seems to be the more prevalent problem area I have encountered.  "I want to take some time to address an issue that I have been exposed to more and more as of late. Since attending my new college as of this past August, I have been approached both directly and indirectly with comments about my appearance and or propositions for a relationship.  Some of these women are what some may call "hot" or "attractive." However, in every instance to date, I have politely declined their advances. When the topic of girls or relationships is brought up (which seems to be quite often) when I am with my friends th

80 Signs You're An INTJ While browsing through my Facebook news feed, I stumbled upon a buzzfeed article I wanted to share with you all. I don't agree with all of them, but I did found most of the gifs entertaining. [Insert standard disclaimers here] The article can be found below: http://www.buzzfeed.com/newu1671/80-signs-youre-an-intj-cz0z

ENTP Memes and Humor

Image
ENTP Humor Seeing that my two previous postings on Meyers-Briggs personality memes and humor were so popular, I have decided to construct a page on ENTPs. ENTPs and ENFP are known to some as being potentially more compatible to the INTJ personality. Putting these pages together, I hope to not only gain a better insight into the workings of the ENTP mind, but only to share my findings with others. Most of my postings here will be somewhat humorous and thought-provoking in nature. Enjoy! Robert Downey Jr. - "Listen, smile, agree, and then do whatever the fuck you were going to do anyway."

The INTJ Death Stare

Image
The INTJ "Death Stare" I am going to keep this answer short and sweet. I have had a significant number of people ask me about the INTJ "Death Stare." So below is a brief overview of the INTJ death stare. The INTJ death stare is a look that some individuals observe when they look at an INTJ. In my personal experience, when I catch myself or see other INTJs presenting a look that could be thought to be a death stare style look, the prevailing cause is typical because we are in deep thought or are trying to solve something in our mind. Here is an example of what may be going through an INTJ's head when he/she is displaying the "Death Stare." "A thought process might go like this: (Sitting at a bar with some friends, they're talking about something I find boring) Someone asks someone else if they're going to order food. I notice the menu. Do I want food or a beer? If I order a beer, and then decide to order food, it needs
